The discipline

Soapy Massage,
as we practise it

The one session on our wall that begins at the taps rather than the bed. Hot water is run, a thick lather is built, and the massage happens in and through the foam, her hands and body moving over you in long soaped passes that are half wash, half caress. It is the brightest, most playful hour we offer, and the one guests pick when the day needs to be rinsed off before anything slower can begin.

Movement by movement

Where it comes from, how the hands work, and what the hour leaves behind, plainly told, so the first message can be short.

01

Where it comes from

Paying to be washed is among the oldest luxuries on record, but the soapy session in its modern shape was perfected in the bathhouse quarters of postwar Japan and, in a rowdier register, the bath-parlours of Bangkok, where lather itself was promoted from preparation to performance. Amsterdam's contribution was portability: strip the format of its marble rooms and it fits any hotel bathroom with a decent shower, which is exactly how our women carry it.

02

The technique

The lather is the tool, so it is made properly, a mild soap she brings herself, whipped with hot water into a foam thick enough to hold its shape on skin. She works it in long two-handed sweeps with palms flat, letting the slip of the soap spread pressure into something diffuse and enveloping. Rinses are timed like rests in music, a beat of clear warmth between rich passes, and she manages the water temperature throughout so you are never standing in the cold waiting for the next movement.

03

In the room

She checks the bathroom first, water temperature, footing, towels within reach, because the room is part of the instrument here. The session runs mostly standing and seated: lather worked across your back and chest in broad strokes, rinsed away warm, built again richer than before. The rhythm of soap, water, soap keeps the skin awake instead of lulling it, so the hour feels lighter and quicker than its clock. It ends with a final rinse, a warmed towel, and, if you have booked past the hour, a dried-off second act on the bed.

04

Who it suits

The traveller who lands sticky from a long flight, the guest whose day ran twelve hours, and anyone who finds the idea of being soaped and rinsed by a beautiful woman self-evidently worth an hour. Needs nothing from you but a bathroom with hot water that keeps its nerve.

05

What it leaves

You come out scrubbed, steamed and loose, with the specific lightness of having been washed by someone else's hands, a comfort most adults have not felt since childhood, rebuilt for grown-up purposes.

Asked before booking

Plainly answered. Anything else, ask in the message, the line is open all night.

Which of the women should I ask for?

The soapy specialists on the current roster are Angelika, Cindy, Danielle, Jasmin, Laura, Lea, Liana, Luna, Milena, Molly and Violetta. If you name a mood rather than a woman, we will pick from that list for you.

My hotel has only a shower stall, does that kill it?

No. A tub is a pleasure and never a requirement; the standing and seated version is the classic form anyway. What matters is steady hot water and enough floor for two people to move, which nearly every hotel bathroom in the centre has.

Is the soap hers or the hotel's?

Hers, always, a mild unscented one chosen because it lathers generously and rinses clean, packed alongside her own towels. Your toiletries and the hotel's stay where they are.
